But first – a bit about the story!

Mountain girl Minnie Tucker, new maid at the Biltmore mansion, knows Mr. Vanderbilt’s rule about the household staff not being seen.  As one who loves to read, the Biltmore House library offers thousands of books, if she ever has the time. The secret door to the library gives her a chance, but running into a guest is not part of her plan.

Author Stanton Bardwell is a guest of the Vanderbilts at their mountain mansion, invited there to escort and hopefully, be attracted to, one of their female guests. However, when he has an unexpected meeting with charming Minnie Tucker, one of the parlor maids, he can’t shake the attraction. But when he crosses barriers to be with her, the results are drastic for Minnie. How can he make things right between them and pursue the only woman who he’s ever been drawn to love?
